Anna Kerr is a huge picture book fan. From 2016-2022, she was the Reviews Editor at BookTrust and managed the Writer in Residence programme, where she developed a passion for picture books and was fortunate enough to work with some of the best children's book authors and illustrators, including Michael Rosen, Ed Vere, Smriti Halls and Nadia Shireen.

Anna has an MA in avant-garde and experimental poetry, having published five books of poetry with the Knives, Forks and Spoons Press and Flambard Press.  She published a YA series with Quercus before beginning her career writing as Kennedy Kerr, the USA Today bestselling author of the Loch Cameron, Magpie Cove, Echoes of Cornwall, Mistress of Magic and The Scottish Island Inn women's fiction/romance series. She also provides book expertise and freelance consultancy to clients including the BBC, BookTrust and The Women's Prize Trust.

Anna lives in Surrey with her teenage son and her cat, Zoey. She loves music, food, beaches, books and fashion, and can often be found in her hot tub.
