Lauren Child’s Charlie and Lola collaborates with Banijay Kids & Family and partners with Skinnydip London.

Celebrating 25 years since the first Charlie and Lola book, “I Will Not Ever Never Eat A Tomato”, Lauren Child collaborates with Skinnydip to produce a line of phone cases, T‑shirts, sweatshirts and hoodies.

The enduring appeal of Lauren’s characters and illustration style is apparent in the reaction to the announcement. It has been met with great excitement and hopes for an expansion of the range.

“I Will Not Ever Never Eat A Tomato” won the prestigious Kate Greenaway Medal in 2002. In March, Hachette will publish a special anniversary edition of the iconic picture book. The Charlie and Lola books have sold over 35 million copies worldwide and have been translated into over 40 languages. The BAFTA award-winning TV series of 75 episodes, created by Tiger Aspect and the BBC, is screened all over the world.

Roubina Tchoboian, Head of Global Licensing, Banijay Kids & Family says: “Two decades on the brand continues to thrive, delighting new generations with its creativity, humour, and heart. And with its enduring appeal, Charlie and Lola offers standout licensing potential, inspiring fun, well‑crafted products that connect with fans of all ages.”
